Thanks to everyone for the kind words. The Black Limba was a little problem to bend - there was some grain seperation on the inside of the waist bend which I have not had before, but otherwise it worked well.
If you like light guitars it's a great wood. Combined with the Pau Ferro fretboard and bridge and the POC top it is the lightest guitar I've built - it almost floats out of the case.
The Port Orford Cedar is not a Cedar and it's not like Cedar either. I was making another 000 at the same time with a Carpathian Spruce top and the POC top was noticeably stiffer when I had them at the same thickness. This is only my second guitar with POC but so far I like it a lot, and it smells great when you plane it.
I thought this would be a fingerstyle guitar and it works well this way, but it really shines when playing single string lead lines with a pick - think Bruce Langhorne on Dylan's Bringing It All Back Home. I think it might work well on a Dred.
